Who are we? 

TÜV Rheinland Automotive Component Testing GmbH was founded in 2020 as a joint venture between TÜV Rheinland Kraftfahrt GmbH and ConAC GmbH. As a future-oriented company, we combine many years of expertise in battery testing and type approval for the automotive industry with innovative solutions for the mobility of the future.

TÜV Rheinland has been a leader in the provision of testing and certification services for automotive manufacturers and suppliers for decades. With this extensive experience, we offer our customers the highest quality and safety in all areas of vehicle and battery system validation.

As part of the Smart Mobility Solution Campus in Aachen, an innovation center with start-ups from the mobility sector and the affiliated RWTH Institute (PEM – Chair of Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components), we always have our finger on the pulse. We promote exchange with leading research and development institutions and work closely with visionaries in the industry to actively shape the mobility of tomorrow.
